Story of the friendship between a boy living in steppe and a wolf cub. They grow up together, and play pranks together. They are friends, not knowing that people and wolves are enemies. A child’s heart does not understand the ruthlessness and cruelty of the adult world. When people want to kill the grown beast, the boy sets his friend free. After many years they meet again.
